What makes a guitar God ? We have decided to nominate 100 people based on their skills as a guitar player not necessarily their popularity. This may cause some controversy but is necessary to prove that the best guitarists are not necessarily the most popular. This is for many reasons such as that promotion by record labels, bad timing and changes in music trends that do not necessarily promote guitar players. Today's metal is not the guitar-based metal of the 80s however there are several good guitar players today in several bands that are popular but there are several guitar players that are going unnoticed because rock guitars is not popular at this time. We are currently accepting nominations for the guitar players that you feel should be considered guitar gods we will be promoting this on several websites that we frequent. And on this website if you have a local musician who you believe is a great guitar player. Please send us an MP3 of that are play with no less than three songs and no more than 10 preferably live. Please be sure you have the permission of musician when sending their compilations to us. Please send your nominations to,

Please do not overlook nominating these people.
